Laser removal is a non-invasive process utilizing focused light energy. Concentrated light pulses at a high speed frequency producing a photo- acoustic effect that is absorbed by the ink pigments in the skin. This absorption causes the ink particles to shatter into much smaller fragments that are then flushed away gently and naturally by your body’s lymphatic system.
this process is repeated over multiple sessions with each treatment progressively removing the ink particles until the tattoos is no longer visible. This procedure is precise and targets only the pigment leaving the surrounding tissue unharmed.

The sensation of laser removal is often described as feeling similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin. While it may be slightly uncomfortable, most clients find the experience manageable. Topical anesthetic is applied to the treatment area before the process to ensure a more comfortable experience.
Session duration is typically very short, often lasting only a few minutes depending on the size of the tattoo. This helps to make the procedure fast and easy to endure.
-
The number of sessions required for complete removal is unique to each tattoo and depends on several factors such as; age of tattoo, body placement, color, density, skin health.
A realistic estimate is provided during a personalized consultation.

Tattoo colors can be effectively treated and removed. Some faster and easier than others. Black and Dark colors are easiest due to their ability to absorb a wide range of laser wavelengths. Lighter pigments such as Yellow and white are treatable but may require more sessions. In rare cases involving less conventional inks such as fluorescent inks may be more challenging to remove completely.

Pico technology is the fastest and gentlest laser treatment available. Operating with a more precise targeting of ink particles and much shorter pulse duration to create a photo-acoustic effect that shatters the ink particles into much smaller fragments with less heat and no invasion of surrounding tissue. this allows for better ink clearance, fewer sessions, and less discomfort compared to other systems.

Your Technician may recommend a Tegaderm- style bandage to keep the treatment area protected. This covering is clean and typically worry free. It can be kept on for up to 7 days and is low maintenance.

-Additional supplements may be helpful. Natural supplements such as Dandellion tea or Nettles tea can help to strengthen your ability to flush toxins. Lymphatic drainage techniques can also be effective in your recovery.

When performed correctly by a trained professional the risk of scarring is very low. PicoSure is designed to to target the ink pigments without damaging the surrounding tissue.
